Out of all Takhisis i have faced the only one who has ever come close to killing Thulga alone is Durewn, Elestel has killed me once, but i was link dead so it doesnt count. All the other Takhisis dont have a hope. Even before when we were fighting 3vs3 Thulga never died until he was blackjacked and rings/wrists stolen. Maybe Takhisis clan powers are not strong enough for outcasts/mages? Or maybe outcasts are not strong enough at all, seeing as they dont have thier clan powers when reraiding? Particularly outcasts i think, fighting Arpade who has had some quite nice goodies, is like taking a strole through the Sla-Mori. I can say that i would have had absolutely no trouble at all reraiding against him. Does he have all his manuals? I think maybe i would have some trouble with an invoker as i cannot resist earth/air/energy as well as the others and he would be able to slay the outer guard quickly.

*sighs* hate to admit its quite true. I have a hard time killing clerics in general.\
takhisis outcasts do waste one power, the dark ritual, that doesent stack with protect good.
But I am getting stronger, thulga. *wink* normally im not with much good armor. I dont think i ever will ahve a ideal saves/damroll based equip, but its decent now.

You also have to consider that you've chosen a dark-elf Outcast, whereas the obvious strongest combo would be a Minotaur with Human behind that. Human as a deathknight can be incredibly powerful, but it seems that dark-elves lose some distinct advantages when you pick Outcast class (just my observation, never played drow outcast).

at the minimum Arpade has one advantage being a dark elf.
And only he knows this. *smiles gently*

Maybe Takhisis clan powers are not strong enough for outcasts/mages?

Powers for mages are just as excellent. Believe me, when I find at least form of Manticore it will be much easier to kill you Wink

true. but i beleive draconians make the strongest pick.

Hmm, dehucka cried that draconian outcasts are weaklings..

Priest of Mishakal is almost invulnerable. he can heal himself much faster than you strike him. I wonder who can kill him solo, only if lag him very much. So discussing anybody's power in compare with Mishakal cleric has no sense for me. *shrugs*

Yeah Urimarr did it once, that was a rare spot of extremely bad luck i think but then, that could always happen again.

Not to mention that was against a Mishi-cleric in solamnia who has a healing shield, platinum drag shield, solamnic plate and probably not to bad of eq. Most heretics can run through an average mishi-cleric in no time flat (as their hits will be reduced from demolish to mutilate, and outrages only do DEVASTATE/OBLITERATE). You get about 5-7 of those hits a round (roughly 400 damage) with acidic damage and it's bye bye priest....

and mishacleric just type 'c heal' and they return that 400 hps (200+200 healing mastery) back.

And what about the healing lag? -400 hp in one round and cast heal to restore it, ok, but with lag, next round -400 can't be restored. Still can only heal so fast when you're taking that kind of a beating.

Hey, why only humans can be deathknights? Lets make Arpade deathknight? Why not? He roleplayed well, created well organized clan, but thought lost much constitution while making it *wink*. I remember Icculus was draconian before providing to DK. And Siorosh was human. Ohh, old days *nostalgie*.

But the only thing with highlord being deathknights, is he would be devoted to two different gods. He can't be fully dedicated to takhisis, if he's accepting power and such from another god in return for serving him...esp since takhisis and chemosh are somewhat seemingly at odds since chemosh is her old general but broke away. Conflict of interest here...now if he renounced takhisis and his highlord position i'd say ok go ahead lol.

Niano already mentioned the lag, and you forget the fact that 400hp heal from healing mastery happens on average about 1/3 times. So lets see... about 400 dmg per round (plus pugil or whatever in-between-attack), you can heal MAXIMUM of 400 hp every 2 rounds, possiblity to lose concentration-- you might survive 5 rounds and barely scratch him (can't really attack because you're healing yourself). Remember that's talking about the average mishi-cler.

Average mishacler with even a single curve in his head won't heal himself in battle when he takes 400 and more damage per two rounds.
Average mishacler will flee and heal and after return and swing bastard Smiley)
