I cant really talk about clerics of Sirrion cause i never played one but, the only damage types other than weapons a cleric of sargonnas has is fire and negative. Its not bad at all against players but apparently most mobs dont give a hoot about it and lots of them dont care about fire either.

You know i dont reckon that clerics of sargonnas actually need a different damage type, something else could cover it, something to increase the 'vengence' aspect, but i cant think of anything other than a different damage type. I felt while i was playing mine that it was, all rage and fury, but no vengence. Mace swing is fantastic when your not alone, the only way you kill someone solo with mace swing though is if they are stupid or super unlucky, demonfire is effective against more people than fire but even cursed people can run fast. Form is almost useless having resistance only to normal damage types and fire, And only doing fire type damage as well as having the only feats that work in form seem to be saves and toughness and hero resistances dont apply. As of yet my elemental has been totally and utterly useless in nearly every scenario vs mob or player.

I have an idea though, based on my impression of vengence and rage.
By making incarnation of fire much stronger(changing a damage type, and/or adding some resistances) and forcing the cleric to stay in form for a duration. That would mean no recalling, no healing, no recasting flame aura etc. till the rage has run its course. You could also place a penalty effect on the cleric when he 'calms down'. I liked that idea cause it represents the gods ways.

But if it is just me and im doing something terribly wrong PLEASE say so.

We won't just add a cheap spell with an easy damage type that none can resist.

I think there is just a lack of options, no one is asking for a beastly slayer or they'd just pick a different class.

Yes, I'm agreed with Sirrion, that priests of Him should not be offencive...
But as soon they are pure alchemists, why not to return proffessions back?
Gathering herbs and potions brewing from them is very nessesary for Sirrion priest!

PS:  And, Lord Sirrion,  as soon i can not catch you in realms, let me ask here:
 Aegis of Flame is currently the only thing in your Temple?
What about the flaming mount we talked about?
And i have also some other interesting ideas to implement for the Temple of Eternal Flame...
When and where can we discuss all this things?
