Does mass healing not heal your pets on purpose?

I don't want it back. You can never get rid of the smell, you know. Besides, that dagger was Flint's!

I ask this because i rarelly ever use it, and when i do its just because im being lazy, healing each target individually is so much more superior that mass healing it is useless in fights. That and not being able to cast it in combat. I have used it more as mass refresh. After healing individual's during 100 fights in a row with 4 or more members plus pets all taking damage is alot of work and exhausting.
