The curse upon it won't let you remove it.
Armor class bonus: 7 vs pierce, 7 vs bash, 7 vs slash, and 4 vs magic.
When worn, it
   modifies armor class by -10
   modifies strength by 2
   modifies constitution by 1
   modifies constitution by 1

My mage has fire chain sheet lightning etc, i think the only spell it doesnt have is rift gate. Firechain strikes 3 times quite often.
