Scrabbling down a weir
  The brook here jumps and flows over a small weir, the trees leaning
closer in to you, hemming you in. The sound of falling water fills your ears
and if you want to, you could make a quick scamble down the side. To the
east, the brook leads back to its source.

should be "scrambling" I think. Unless they're playing a popular american boardgame
want should be changed to "wanted" to be gramtically correct
scamble should probably be "scramble"
