Dear dehucka, correct me if i'm mistaken, but if you log on a nonclanned char, then relog to a clanned char, it's called cheating! If you don't believe me, ask any immortal. I found it out the hard way...

From what immortal told me, it's not really "cheating" unless you use the non-clanned char to find out where someone is to kill them and then log on clanned char to do so. But if you log on a char to check who list or something before you log on your clanned char it's considered very very cheap and cowardly and the IMMs will use their power do address such behavior.

Heh, well i simply located Takhisis's power in the Tower. Was sitting near Tower for a while. but when noone came checked the Temple. Pretty logical.

As for Tower, Henare told me that Chaos is fighting Takhisis near their Temple (if I remember correctly he fought Chaos in Pal a bit before)

I thought it would be fine to make life of CHaos and Takhisis more funny and join that battle

Then as you can read in log I have told Henare that I am there and fightning

Hey lemme tell you something:
1. It is kinda unhonourable to call other clans to help you - Goris called Henare (may be until you are not Entropist) I hate that. That is my imho.
2. And it is forbidden to help other clans with spells - enlarge for Henare. At the imms place I should deny both of them (so that could happened at the Chemosh's times). Cheat and kindergarten everywhere.

Tell me, is it really necessary to completely ruin RP during serious PK? Why Imms write "Great battle" here? Im really confused. Or is it a normal thing for clan players to behave like they play Quake?

The main thing that bother me - why immortals are so happy about that?

Hmm, well a good battle is a good battle. And i still do not see where rp was broken, at least harshly. There were 5 clans present, only two pairs of which had neutrality between each other (warders neutral to chaos, guardians neutral to tower). Of course with such a diverse spectre of enemies oone shall pick his battles carefully, perhaps first getting rid of the strongest of your two enemies assisting one of them against the other. Not to mention assisting freindly clan- nothing wrong with that imho.
And about forgetting about rp, when great battles take place. I think it is not forgetting, but rather coming to terms with reality of the situation, like in real life: sometimes you assist not the people you really like, so that yuo both could survive to settle your disputes later. It is like when a Solamnic and a heretic both arrive to reraid at Takhisis with defenders at the same time. Should they start fighting each other or smash the dragon together and hope to strike the last blow, thus assisting each other? I would pick the second and don't think it would be breaking role or something.

RP it s not - clan dont help other clans - it s bull sh*t from point of RP - Reistlin travelld with Mishakal priestesses - and?

I ask immortals and players - dont make RP just black and white and simple as bull sh*t.

Role engine should help with this - bad damn now it very hard to use.

As far as I can see, roles are approved within 24 hours, and only chapters that disappear are those written in English we fail to comprehend.

I dont want to argue a lot and quote the log, Ill just explain where exactly I see the lack of RP. In few words I see that most people in this log were driven not by desires of their character and role, but by greed for "shinies" and efficacy. I dont believe that Solamnic knight would sacrifice his views for efficacy, no, he will not unite with his foe to strike Takhisis. As well as Heretic. Its not black-and-white, its just honest following the role not only when its funny or paying, but every single moment. Yes, Raistlin was traveling with priestess of Mishakal. Becouse magic was everything for him and he wanted to use her. But he also betrayed his beloved brother and all his friends, he lost his health. Would you betray you OOC-friend in-game becouse you are evil? Thats what I talk about - the important thing is not WHAT you are doing, but WHY are you doing this. To gain shinies and frags or to play a really interesting role? Its a question of conscience - noone can prove, why you act that way or another, so I dont want to argue any further.

some feedback about roles:

1. it can be much more easy if write it in "note" engine.
it will be safe for person and for immortals

2. may be it dont need so much control of roles - review, approve. let it be more simple - person write a note with role chapter and can act according with it.

so, main point of control should be - dont act strange for your role WITHOUT EXPLANATION IT IN NOTE B.E.F.O.R.E.!!!

so, white mage, you helped to draconian - wher s your explanation in role-note?

and for now it can be enough - later Immortals can strenghten control

i can see point for the most part...but main weakness of role engine is when good rp comes along, its rarely planned. Strange twists with white robe helping drac isn't usually thought out before hand, just happens...

person should control that all his behaviour fit previous role description, if  he feel he gonna make something strange, wierd for his role (just need keep in mind your own role) then he need to post exaplanation, how it can be possible then start action...
