Hrm... Need to find some staffs for Elleshar. Also maybe wolf form was the best idea from the start? Phera heals and Elleshar deals damage. Fighting protectors should be left for after reraid imho. With warder resists the Resistance would have done much better.
Anyways, Warders, we need to grow, grow, grow. And then we shall do some head smashing.  Grin

Elleshar concentrates for a moment and draws upon the forces of nature.

Elleshar releases a powerful burst of gathered starlight!

Elleshar's starburst === OBLITERATES === a red bird!

A red bird is DEAD!!

So what is new about this log? I see only mass spamming of sheet lightning and fireball, nothing else.
Find me someone else who can stay alive after mage spend his all mana targeting him with sheeth lightning.
By the way, Elleshar did not die, we reraided and Phera died by accident (she quaffed potion of return on wrong place). Btw, she is also 4 ranks lower than Alantas.
Wolf do more damage, thats true, but in form resistanced to fire, lightning and saves are smaller. Also sentinel makes more damage to wolf. Well, maybe wolf is better to try, i will try it next time to check.
Btw we cound not count on warder resistances because we were reraiding...
It was impossible that i tank and Phera heals me because both sheet lightning and fireball do area damage (and do not hurt sentinel, though my sunburst hurts ranger ??).
Hmm, i can find one more staff for myself. I have one staff with divine damage, and i didnt expect that some mage can be immune to divine damage. I still dont understand how...
I didnt want to avoid fight with invoker because i thought we can kill him or make him flee...
I was self confident but that immunity to divine surprised me a bit. Well, good to know for next time...

Your throw MUTILATES Aldurus!
Aldurus is DEAD!!
-and a bit later
Is this the name you wish to be known by, Aldurus (Y/N)?

Whomever you are, I'm sorry for messing with you. I surely would not kill you if I knew this will lead to such kind of result.
Mood is crappy for now Sad

No, it wasn't because of the death. Was just explaining that I don't delete characters because they're killed, I delete them when I don't like them.

I was testing out 3 things with Phera. I'd never been mino cler, or chislev cler, or warder. As a little tip of advice for anyone who wants to test out a spellcasting class (like alot of clerics are), don't choose mino. Minotaur clerics are for people who have played that kinda of cleric before, know they like them, and are willing to devote ALOT, and I mean ***ALOT*** of time to mastering.

I might come back with another chislev cler sometime, but it'll be a good test of the class with some sort of elf first. After I master a clerical class with elf type race, then I *might* consider mino for the advantages.

Unreal, rather than just criticize the log, why dont you provide some pointers as to what would have been better?  That way we can all learn from your knowledge and the logs, and maybe post more "wise logs" in the future?  I know I would like to learn more...

Aye, but look this...

A sentinel iron golem's crush wounds Phera.

A sentinel iron golem's crush wounds Phera.

At rank 26 so good phisical resistance is good. So assasins and transmuters in form cant hurt you much when hero i suppose. But unfortunatelly these clerics does not have resist fire and resist ice, which makes them kinda vuln to so much variety of weapons, spells. By the way hero mino can make 500 mana with eq easy, and i know some with 800 mana. It is hard to master empowers and hard to make someone to accept you in group only because of cure mortal, but on rank 31 incarnate does mangles and demolishes. Btw what kind of spells need mastering at chislev cleric? healing (that will go with time), maybe hurricane for offense and the rest are sumonable things or affect, do not have to be mastered.

And how you can say warder chislev cleric is tough when you didnt raised him to hero rank. You dont see full strength if you are not hero, many empowers awaits from 26 to hero. And it is not nice to enter clan just for experimenting, it is serious thing.

Btw Valeria, why did you left?

I've always been taught that if you use a spell, you need to master it. This includes spells that you use to prep for fights, restorative spells, maladictive spells, and utility spells.

So, with chislev cler, at a minimum you need to master

armor, bless, protection, fly, aid, brairthorn, blind, cureblind, cure critical and mortal (different needs for different situations), cure disease, cure poison, hurricane, resist lightning, resist negative, (maybe not master summon elementals), incarnate, and some others but they aren't coming to me off the top of my head.

To me, if you don't take the time to master the spells/empowers/skills that you use on a constant basis, you're not investing anything in the character and it's a trash/test char. Just how I see it though.

Yep, I was wrong to enter clan, oops. I didn't say that the class was tough, I said I made a mistake by choosing minotaur as a race for a class I was experimenting with.

Imagine that I come to Drunr and say ' Hi, Elder, can you induct me for an hour because i want to see how it is in warders and then if i dont like it, i will leave. '
I suppose he would sing some marching dwarven song and smash my head.
Well, never mind, some others will come, i hope.

I really dont see point in mastering armor unless you are mage fanatically in love with magic. Armor is basic spell and with 75% you cast it nice before battle because it lasts long. What if it fails 1-2 times? Anyone dies because of that? No, you learned to play as mage when you have to master spells, but this is another thing. I know many minotaurs who wanted to master all and what happened with them? I see them 2 weeks maximum then they disappear...

It's the way I play my characters.

I already said I was wrong to join the clan and leave like that, can't really go back in time and fix it.
