presence of paladine protections only from the damage of an attack, not the after effects. I think this has been addressed before.

Aye, presumably only immunity to damage type of attack grants invulnarability to the affect carried with it.

But when pds blocks strangle it protects from strangle affect, when pds blocks bash it removes  lagging affect, so on
