i didint see this mentioned in the help files... So some weapons simpy parry better then others? If im not mistaken some like whips and flails have more chance of passin shield block, but ive never read that (though my common sense says that a sword parrys better then a dagger) some weapons parry more easly then others.

The best weapons to parry are swords and axes, then comes staffs, daggers and maces, and the worst are whips and flails. These results are watched upon my own experience and may be incorrect ...

Parry takes in consideration both yours and your opponents weapons.
Generally, the weapon that is easier to parry, parries better as well.
