Well, helm with visor that protects eyes from dust can't let an edge of whip or flail do damage to eyes. They are simply protected physically. I voted yes

Agreed with Quino: many helms can protect face from such big objects as flails, but rare - from dusts. And it's strange, if we have protection from dirt and have no protection from weapon.

Quino, don't get so cocky! Cool Don't forget kender has 2 dexterity points more than any other race that can play assassin... Another thing: kenders have racial reflex save bonuses which makes them even harder to hit... And correct me if i'm mistaken, but i can recall a few dehucka's logs where he won in  a fight against season (elf) assassin in Guardians with his shadow... Cool
