I am not sure is it only me. I tried to change profile in mudclient and the other profiles work. I also tried to log with same char from telnet and strange characters were already there too.
Is that some general command for changing language prefs?

it's mccp compression, seems your client does not support it

Yeah, it's mccp - MUD C... Compressing protocol, saves traffic. See Files section of the site for client.

eh.. if you have problems with char and do not want to use client that support mccp just login and type mccp again ignoring all "strange symbols" =)
