You yell, 'Die, Nebiru you sorcerous dog!'
Your spellbane reflects Nebiru's spell!
Nebiru slowly topples from the dracolich of the red dragon and onto the ground.
Nebiru goes to sleep.
Nebiru is in perfect condition.

Should not he sleep after that? or he can just spam sleep agains spellbane without any risk? Smiley

its all ok.
Look here.
He tryed to sleep you.
Got sleep contrary.
But.
YOUr character understood it as attack (it was attack, right ? ).
So, your character attacked him back.
He went sleep, but you waked him right after that with your punch.

*ponder* it's just game mechanics, not balance.
Any non_sleeping person, who got 'sleep' spell, goes to sleep or attacks the caster.
So, you have to accept the spellbane is not ideal protection  Wink

When Nebiru and Taelina first battled a similiar thing happened only the sleep spell successfully slept Taelina but the golem continued the fight and woke her.

Clan guards always awakened slept persons.
