- Return svs as they were in past.
- Return instant kills skills/spells to be as they were in past.
- Return skill/spell (%)of effectiveness to what they were in past.

And see player base grow.

- remove instant kills.
- Improve lagging skills/spells, make some new skills/spells like fatigue and curse that prevent fleeing.
- Ease joining in the clans.
- Change newbie zone and/or outfit command to have more damroll
- add some lowlevel damage skills to some classes(clerics, for example, gain shield block at 14, parry at 16, swing at 15, dont have any ac or damage to exp effectively at low ranks)
- remove half-kenders, those are nonsense
- add some, even if minor, specializations to each classes.
(outcast: more magic or more fighting,  thief: more rogue skills or more fighter skills, knight - more fighting or more preaching, etc)
- make characters less universal ( invokers - two elements out of 4, alters - 1 major form, etc)
- there is elven problem also, with str->damage dependency, there is little sense of making elven fighterlikes, which does no good.

And see playerbase grow.

I agree with Raider! Though not with some of the methods he wishes to change it. A thief with more fighter skills sounds damn scary, and there is little sense making elven anythings except perhaps season assassin Tongue The same goes for dark elf, good for necromancers only, i would remove dark elves and allow elves all alignments. I agree heaps with elven warriors being useless, it is strange, riposte is dependent on parry which is dependent on strength, yet both parrying and riposte things done with finesse and lighter weapons. I could go on forever!

PS. yes i spent many years sport fencing. . .

enriching PK is not same for all. For example you like to prep, you like
long fights. While for me PK should be quick with no preps (quake-like).

Actually i hate to prep, sometimes it is unavoidable. I like fights that last like 6+ rounds. . . any shorter than that is pointless. I want the adrenaline to pump a bit longer Tongue

i would remove dark elves and allow elves all alignments.

btw, it always astonish me how can I recognize them as 'dark elves' on sight.
as far as I understand they're not a separate race but the same elves, just outcasted because of their evil nature.
so I should see something like:

Ohsoevilroguel the male elf is here.


and only when i'd catch him slaying dryads I'd understand that something wrong with him
