Pre first log, Kungra challenges Zaltais, Zaltais replies that his potion stock is low then comes out and attack Kungra. He flees and the log starts.

"Your open yourself to the light of Mishakal and feel her energy supporting you."
Nice seeing that from a cleric who is devoted to the Dark Queen.

And, you were forgetting to shroud self in the last part of the fight.

The powerseeker and roleplayer in me had a great battle to decide whether or not to use this shield, and this time powerseeker won Smiley

I am so getting in trouble for that.

Its not so bad! I had knight (klarion) and personally sanctified spider bracelet. There  would be no   problems to use it after that if i knew about daytime and nightime trick

Hey... at least we (cobar) got our power back!  Grin
If we were hero already perhaps it would have been a little less hard... Tongue

Yeah poor cobar, Razlen dueled Kungra a couple of times yesterday, he had no sanc but i don't think that it would have helped much, both fights were over in 2 or 3 rounds... I even did unspeakable things with one jab. It is sad that a mounted heretic can annihilate a mounted cobar... I don't think they are hero's yet though.

-waiting years for an epic battle..and kazo misses it,  might have helped out the cobar some, not for any of his cobar skills but just for sanc and resists.  Still oddly enough....the mounted baby version of outrage the cobar have was not enough to turn the tide it seems..heh.  Though I did see the mysterious cloak elude a bash  Tongue ....lil help please *scans up*  Embarrassed  But nice log...wish kazo was there.

I have one question for the Immortals: why in the name of Abyss did you make Cobar clan without a single usable PK skill? You took away the Chaos and replaced it with a weak, unimaginative, poorly developed clan, fitted only for the priests since they, of all classes, get benefits from being mounted...

I dont traditionally like to take bashes at immortals,
But my two personal cents.

Cobar need to be... re-adminstered. Maybe some flu shots.
Reality;

Fighters, lose 3/4 of abilities when they mount, they should somehow be fixed. MAYBE
definitely some skills that might help them in PK.
They already have huge disadvantage of being human.
Why would knight join when they can join Solamnia, why outcast when they can join takhisis.
Why mage when they can join tower etc.

Clerics seem to be the only one worthy of this benefit they get, otherwise all other classes
are proving to be meat.

I remember back in the hold days, Towers had the most HP at like 1400, 1600 at MOST with
the old channel. A hero knight would have 900 etc. Thats how it was.

There have been so many revamps, that if you dont have 1400-1600hp, you arent lasting long
at hero ranks, if you arent super prepped you are meat to the new weapons.

Kazo being a HUGE exception, mainly because he was a cleric. I dont think there is one class
that benefits from being in cobar.

Im not saying HEY lets give them super leet powers so they are all the rage. But at this point,
being cobar is completely roleplay, and thats about it.

I am leader of other clan, and even i am starting to feel bad, they jsut dont have the abilities
to stand up to other clanned characters at hero ranks.

I think alot of it might have to do with preps as well. But i am not seeing much benefit from
the clan.

It was a great roleplaying idea, but i think it needs to be worked on a bit.

Sorry Sad

doing a great job otherwise though Smiley

PS

actually, once you bring bards back, i will love you forever and i will hide my e-penis, i swear

They could have made cobar a shrine of sort not a clan full of meat...

I am new to clans ,so I don't know what other have to offer, but I don't
think Cobar is bad concept. It is true that warriors are crippled by being mounted al the time and so far Cobar sucked in PK ,but there aren't hero members yet (except Kazo).
All that I am saying,is give Cobar a chance  Smiley

There have been other Hero cobar, though only clerics have been very successful in battles. Tithtivian was quite strong.

The problem doesnt lie in the cobar i think but in warriors and rangers, there should be a mounted fighting skillset for every kind of weapon. Surely i can do more from my horse than riposte and parry.

PS. Mounted warriors etc should autobash unmounted people randomly, horses elephants and dragons are big and heavy.
