Rugby is very good game also.
About NFL.
Prehistory: Very long time ago loosers and criminals from British Empire came to a new continent known as North America today.
They saw a game with egg-like ball in their native land. And they deicided to play this game in new place. Evrybody didn't know rules of this game. Also they were cowards because of what they starts to wear helms and armour on. Today World knows this crap as American Football.

In the US they call it jus "football" I think, and the real "football" was renamed "soccer"...
Makes no sense... American Football, you barely use your feet.... while soccer it is what you use most... Why soccer by the way?? Because of the extra long socks??  Huh

I surelly don't know why they called it 'soccer'.
But I saw the 'Hooligans' film with acter who was Frodo in 'Lord of the Ring'
There was beautiful phrase to him: 'Stop say Scoccer'
In GB don't like this word also. They call this game just football, like
all Europeans countries using their native languages.

You're all wrong. The most demanding ball sport is called "cowboy basketball". I used to play it while in the high school. The rules are simple: there are two teams and one basketball. You chase the guy from the opposite team if he has the ball and beat him down. You can also beat the guy who doesn't have the ball. The game ends when someone manages to score. Cool

deda, dunno what you say about.. but calcio storico have some rules... you can get the ball by any way you can. 4 teams - 27 players each. 1 ball... You can hit, kick, throw the opponent:) No matter he with ball or not.

p.s. I wuz just kidding about the difficulty of the "cowboy basketball". It was not lethal at all! It had something to do with us not being allowed to carry weapons at that age... (secondary school)... Still, a couple sets of nuts got cracked!  Grin

Now that the game is back up, mabey it's time for a new addition to this topic.

I am Jamie
28 years old
I live is South Carloina USA
not a sports fan except for MMA
work in retail sales as a manager
joined the army at 17 years old
went to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom (thanks George w.)
got married young and will hit 10 year anniversary end of sept
2 kids a 9 year old daughter and a 2 year old son
Found solace while doing some searches for dragonlance books online in 2006
got a friend to start playing with me and still a fresh noob

like the details of solace played ULtima online, WOW, and many others in the past
nothing makes me think like this game. Oneday I will learn something or see this special room everyone is talking about. Until then I will try to learn.

if anyone ever wants to give me tips or teach ne something just hit me up here or on my email
