Stylish equipment feature.

I have a simple idea concerning some equipment. Nothing that I think should be overpower, just some stylish addition feature thingy. 
Why not make more equipment add bonuses just like the claws of the umberhulk?
Example:
-Spiked armor that improves damage when you bash/crush opponent
-Spiked gauntlets that improved unarmed damage only.

As I said, I mean for none of these to be overpower, just a nice feature.
