Only Guardians may attack a guild guard when criminal is hiding in the guild.

And if a criminal isn't in the guild, but say, an evil dark elf or something like that .. it is ok to attack the guild guard?

And when it talks about protected places ... it means the cities? Yet, isn't that where all the attacks happen? In Kalaman, nothing ever happens when you are attacked there. Or are we short of Guardians at the moment?

This is part of the "Laws" section, so it refers to laws.  By that I mean, it's saying only Guardians may attack a guild guard when a criminal is hiding in the guild without breaking the law, and hence becoming wanted if it can be proven or is seen by a guardian.

And yes, I believe we're just tragically short on guardians at the moment...when you're attacked, it's certainly breaking a law, but there's simply nobody around to punish them.

You can always attack the guild guard, it's just always against the law Wink
But if no witnesses are there to report it, then you can't be caught...unless there's an unseen witness Smiley

So yes, you can attack the guard, Jemma, at your own discretion Wink

Mmm, what do you mean exactly that rulers can come in guild?  We're talking about guilds in town, right? (Knight guild, transmuter guild, etc).  Which rulers can enter if they aren't one of those classes?

The law is against people -attacking- the guild guards.  If they let someone pass, that's fine.  If they would have let you pass and you attack, that's not fine Smiley
