1) if ranger is faded and has possibility to ambush you, if he is smart and snared he will get one off,
all you need to do is to do area attack and that solves that problem.
2) No class can cure a dirt kick
3) thorns is not nearly as deadly as a wall of ice, or latch
4) i rarely see you without sanctuary


I'm sorry but it is really beginning to sound like any time you develop some difficulty raiding/reraiding/killing another person
you have changes to propose on forums on how it SHOULD be.

If you have so many problems with it, why not change class? Learn to adapt and play like the rest of us? Maybe not learn to be free
of complaint, but at least learn that mud is way it is and nothing wrong with it and keep mouth closed?

Funny. Its not solve anything. First of all if you go to reraid - you need pass to one place by one road, where you find a snare and ranger and will got ambush (so you cant area attack first). Add here 2 lions and griffon and think more about need of area attack...
2. Well, lets he is dirted... He flee camouflage, wait until can see come and ambush again. If it acceptable to you 1 dirt = 1 ambush, so its not so good for me.
3. Without ambush yes.
4. Store all orbs and will see me more often without protection...

I got assasined from first try by you and i had 1200 hps and shroud. It means you did 2400 damage to me in one milisecond.
Ambush compared to this is children game. 
So i suppose it does not qualify enough to be classified as some kind of strange power? 
So i see some balance there...maybe it just has to look longer and anybody will see that there is balance.

fighting ranger = kill pets. If you get ambushed and die in 1 round then that's either a very very lucky ambush or lack of preps. If your an assassin who needs to reraid you absolutely must use strangle imo. If you fail to strangle just leave for 3 hours and come back when you can try again. After strangle then kill outer, rinse, repeat.

Wrong. You can not kill what you can not see. I am not sure that you imagine how it works with ambush. You got hit with ambush and battle stops because ranger fades in forest.  Then he do it again and again. If you have no area spell, you are in trouble. Faerie fog can help but it is risky.
But at least you can recall and restore. From assasination for example you cant. With shroud and harden skin ambush was doing about 150 dmg which is ok. Lets not forget that ranger can use it only in forest and it is fact that warders should be tough in their terrain.

I was thinking to recall when i had 500 hps left, but there is something charming in big damage and i rejected my caution just to watch such damage dealing and of course left a pile of my bones.

Hit 2 ambush from 3 attempt/against 40 reflex...

40 reflex is ... no comment. Sangre had 96 at one point, but 88 at the time od deleting. 61 will, 40ish fortitude.

still, all those reflexes + 40 resist fire= unspeaks with firebreath... So much about the saves system.

This is my presumption, if you are fighting dragon of rank 55 of course saves will offer less protection because rank difference beats it.

Just my thoughts.

First problem - fade - ambush fade cripple (cripple nasty too)
Second - ranger stay where snare and near thorns.... If he failed - I flee - I back - I am slowed by snare... New ambush...

Assassinate is very rare, and its not free.... others classes got some good things instead of this skill... That was just luck to kill you.
