Potion Newbie Guide

Everyone is always talking about how important preps are, but there is no guide to a decent preparation, which makes it much harder for beginners.
How about it?

Not sure how long this thread will last, as solace is all about secrecy. However I will add one to see what happens.

While playing around with the summon skill I summoned in

Kyris the male babay he holds a wooden block
when used the block, quaff like a potion,  gives 25th level

armor
shield
giant strength

I have some more info but will wait to see what else is posted prior to giving more.

Herbal Potion - cure blindness, cure poison - Emerald Forest (south of Palanthas) - ancient ranger bear sells them, and the chest southwest of the bear has one.
Crystal Flask - cure disease, cure poison, something else - High Clerist Tower - north east mage sells it.
Potion of Change Skin - stone skin -  Nethosak's potion shop - ATENTION: Not the same spell as transmuter's "stoneskin". This potion gives -40 AC, and is a different spell then armor and shield.
Potion with a shimmering blinding light (or something like that) - harden skin - Nethosak's potion shop (Very expensive potion - around 450 gold)
Off-White potion - remove curse, cancellation - Nethosak's potion shop

You can/should ask for invokers to brew potions of haste for you.

Found a black potion in nightfall on the ground the other day. Not sure if it's a mob drop or a player did it. But it grants

Cure Critcial x 3 in one potion

is there still a sanc potion?

yeah... but its not a potion  its a blood!!!!

There is still the limited white potion that grants sanctuary and other stuff (including hp regeneration) for a very short time. It's the one from the quest in the elf village west of Palanthas. When that potion is no longer available, the quest gives you a dark shimmering potion that amogst other things has resist cold.

Also there is:

Battle herbs - 3x heal -from the Captain in the castle with obsidian guards
Don't know the name of the potion - frenzy, bless - Mithril Halls - purchaseable.

well! in secret shop under Drextor the Black Cobra! (thieves den)
you can find a potions wich make you str 25 and dex 25 !
how to get there?
find yourself hahahaha

You can/should ask for invokers to brew potions of haste for you.

Haste, slow, fly, pass door, imp armor, imp shield, det invis, fireball, cure disease, cure poison, cure blind, protection evil/good, frenzy, bless, teleport, infravision...

cleric of mihskal can brew some aswell... 
like... remove curse , heal , regeneration etc...
in the inn near from crossroad you can win some nice potions aswell...
i like potions with protection shield (against bash) !!!!
also you can get a wand with astral spell from there!!!!!

cleric of Sirrion can brew awesome potions, as I understand. I've heard about them brewing water breath, mana shield, sanctuary, resist poison (and others), etc...
