How about transforming some skills that belong to classes into skills that belong to races, to make things make more sense.

The first example that comes to mind is "haggle".
Haggle is the ability to convince the person you are buying from to lower the price, and I find sometimes very strange that my minotaur fighter would be proficient in such a skill (I didn't even practice it).
Maybe remove it totally from all classes (except thieves and maybe clerics of Hiddukel and Majere), but add it to some races (kenders, half-kenders, humans, elves, half-elves, dark elves, gnomes)?
Minotaurs, draconians and wild-elves wouldn't learn it.

Minotaurs could learn door bash (as it is described in help file).
Elves already learn awareness and forest blending. Maybe they could learn very basic spells... like "create water"...
Draconians already have regeneration.
Kenders already have carve hoopak, and skills related to it.
Etc...

On haggle

think about it a Minotaur pissed comes in your shop and just looks like an 8 foot tall monster are you really gonna argue with him over a few gold? Or bot give him a few extra gold on his sell so he will leave?

Minotaurs need gore- a headbut/stab with the horns.
Dwarves should get cave blending
