In 1997 or 1998 we killed Gohan.

He really was annoying. Awesome, but annoying. We grouped with each other sitting in one room.
We got low level char to scout on him withour risc staying invisible to him (he was kinda outcast, char was assassin with perfected hide).
Four cheaters hunted Gohan down. From one room.
We killed him. It was not easy. We looted him. All things that we could not use we sacrificed.

What he did after that? He got basic equipment. Then he killed red dragon. He weared his scales. Got weapons. And began to hunt us.
He almost died few times. But he really was awesome.
My invoker died first. Other's died a bit later.

Gohan was damned pain. Annoying, damned, pain. Many people quit when saw his char in PK.
He never care about laws, honor, repsect. He was bloody perfect killing machine.

But when he was ganged down by team of cheaters. He did not pray. He did not write on the forum. He did no bother self talking about sacrificed eq or full loot.

He just killed all of us. Alone.

And when he left. He just left. Without posting a log and creating a topic on the forum.

That's why he is legend. And we remmember his name after 17 years.

Few people we can remmember from old Solace.

Kezz, Shino, Marius.

I do not remmember complains of whines from them. But I remmember their names.

Because it's pure OOC. Char B was not in the realms when char A sac'd the item, so he should not know that suddenly the item will be available when he kills the mob. Using one of your chars to benefit another char was once considered multichar (although this is a very indirect method). I realize that the rules have changed and I'm adjusting to them, but I more than understand why people strongly oppose this change.

Argonar made a very good point that someone could sac something with their mage to get with a heretic, so not only is it crossing OOC boundaries but it's also strongly against RP.

Just remember that Kanie was denied for looting a corpse he had OOC knowledge about.

I'm not trying to point fingers at you, Anza. I didn't know exact circumstances or if it deserved a denial, and I'm sure this type of thing happens almost daily. I thought about not using your char's name, but everyone knows this story anyway.

I'm more trying to make a point about how Imms have viewed OOC in the past, and actions that were taken.

The only characters that had a chance to beat garthan 1v1 were the ones who cheated their way to getting top notch items and hid from him because they were afraid to lose them (hoping a trash character would get me). Koelsoh was the only (non-trash) character that even tried to 1v1 me.

Maybe i've gone overboard with my paranoia. Sorry. As much as the monkey part is unneeded and offensive, your reply does strike me as a "was innocent all the time, f*ck off" reply. I will keep the original post as it is just to not hide what i said, but i withdraw the accusations i made to you and apologize as publicly as i accused.

At heart, the complaints are very different.

And Sirri, honestly, if you decided to host mud and expected to get no complaints, especially with the level of cheating that had been going around, you must be crazy.
Really crazy is to kick-out players who have dedicated theirselves to improving the solace-experience just as much as any other player.

In your first post in this forum you said:

Arpade was not a coder or anything like that. But he gave his all as a player to make this place a better place, not only for him, but for others as well. If you are unable to recognize even that, then I just feel sorry for you...
