Warder permagroup gangbanged me (unclanned mage studying in the city) while I'm half-afk at work. Looked away for 2 minutes, come back dead and relieved of all my gold and one particular relic. Wasn't too pissed off about the relic, more upset about interrupted studies, lost army and con.

You only forgot to say that your char is necromancer After explaining you that necromancers and draconians are enemies of Warders (ask grizly bear if you don't believe to me), you called us thieves, scum, garbage and trash, because three of us took only one item. And also you told us we are working for Koelsoh and that item we took will finish in Koelsoh hands, which is completely nonsense. Mastering in city does not make you immune and safe from pk, i am really not sure are you kidding or you are so much displaced with game feats. We have been pretty gentle and respectful,  and you are a out of reality.

Of course we go 3 in group, that is purpose of clan, to group people with same goal - hunting necromancers in this case. Our goal is not leaving necros to master their spells in guilds. I don't want to spend my time explaining Warder clan basics to everybody.

After i got killed in afk(playing at work) for 5th or 6th time i decided that many players in this game do not know what is 'fair' and i have no place within this community.

I reread this few times trying to believe that it is really written.
Playing AFK or semi-AFK is a certain way to PK.
1. People does not know you AFK until they first few rounds of the fight.  And even then they are not sure.
2. Standing AFK in easy-to access places is your own problem

And all this have nothing in common with "fair" or not game.

Can you name me a MUD where players will not kill AFK player?


Full loot, full sac, gangs - etc is about fair play. AFK situations are not.

And also bloodthirsty gnomes and kenders.. cowardly minotaurs.. its very hard to play when you expect some behavior based on the lore of the game yet get something else.

Agree here. People do not know how to RP. And seems does not even try.

Show us how to play right? You have gang allready Arpade, Khiren, you - others. Roll damned party of a dream... "hero in day or two" or join Takhisis. It will take time but at 25 you can turn noexp perfect your skills and clean maus from spellbooks and manuals. Use skype with microphone and headphones.
You need no cheat things. Ground is full of starter stuff to jump from 1 to 15. Then you can get better stuff easily if you work in group. And at herp ranks you'll have to face the Great Solamnic Gang.

And you will definetly show them what is good RP, awesome team, self respect, respect to other players and respect to an enemy.

They will run, they will hide, they will delete and reroll different classes after you kill all their twinks.

Instead we see how you write here. They hurt you in game you are trying to hurt them in forum. That is not how the life works. Real or virtual.

Me. I would not kill an AFK person in any MUD. Its a simple respect of other players. Its much more important to be a 'good' human being than to have a good PK rating.

But of course these episodes are not the main reason of my leave (i know that no one cares )
The game has no future(or slim chances, since there are no volunteers to spend time on development) and it is not very interesting to play. Perhaps i am too old for this. So yes, most likely it grows from inside. I've never been a powerhouse in this game, though i've accumulated a lot of knowledge about it. And i loved it, but that time is gone.

1. How do you know this? Most of the people in this world does not know what they really know. And you know what other's know.
2. If you perfecting spells AFK you should protect yourself. And choose places better. Beeing killed AFK is your fault. Eagle eye has certain echo. Put a sound trigger on it.

I asked "do you know MUD where people will not kill AFK". I know many persons who will not kill AFK. Also I know many persons who will pretend they AFK to avoid certain kill. But you right. Normaly, if i KNOW for sure the player is AFK. I will not kill him. But there are always some exceptions. Not so many, but they are.
i.e. mastering pull or bow on my outer clan guard AFK - is a certain way to get killed.

I would fully expect to die if i did it. And would not expose myself for doing so, even if i died.

I really think speaking of the practice is not something you should be talking about in the game forums.
