- Please no drama, no toxic stuff etc. Respect each other. Let everyone play and enjoy.
- Respect legacy of Solace: roleplay.
- Strictly follow ALL RULES.

Consider clans closed for now. Write a role indicating you'd love a certain clan; you might be inducted at some point (don't worry about your level).

Coming soon: a solution for solo mages level grind. Multicharring is NOT allowed (see above about following all rules).

Cheers!

Its clearly not a newbie friendly zone. half of mobs there will kill any 1 lvl char with starting gear.  There is no gear in the zone that helps ranking. There are no quests that help a new player to get into the world of Solace. And perhaps give a pair of starting levels.

I think the idea of diverse mobs is helpful to show the newbie to be careful, but, as a newbie, they may not be.  I think a way to impoive this would be to:

1) have a ranger remind them upon entering that they should "CONsider" each creature as there may be some that could kill them if they are unprepared.  Maybe ask them to check helps on CONSIDER.

2) vary the mobs there a bit more so characters in ranges 1-5 can truly rank there.  As it is now, not only are many of the mobs there tough for real starters, but at level 5 for some, they can no longer gain much experience there.  Not that we want people to stay until level 5 or to 7, but at least they could have the option.  Right now I think only the bears really provide something.  Maybe make them just under the Goblins in goblin village.

3) awesome idea for a quest!  And make it a simple quest like something where they have to leave the glade and return to it. (go to their hometown guild, or something).  Then they could get an improved something (weapon, or armor or something).

Don't worry, like Sirrion said, the newbie area is under a complete reconstruction, to help with both learning commands and learning to play.
We've already thought about all three things there, but feel free to provide any other ideas you have concerning it. Smiley
