sometimes you request an item.
identify it and realise you dont need it.

what to do with it? drop and sac?
then another good character will be unable to get it till next reboot..
drop on the floor? then some low lvl can get it Smiley too easy.

how about allow to return that items back to mob?

request pendant paladin
cast ident paladin
'bleh, that a crap!
give pend paladin.
