or maybe add +move stats to noobish equipment,
boots +30 mv points, gloves +20 etc

But movement 27 mvs to switch one mountain room for another is WAY too high. What is the point behind this change other than making the game more slow?

I suggest to grant a semi-permanent move regen buff until level 10
