I think it should be like throw and be able to be used during battle
 A trained fighter could leap and hit someone I think we see this in mma currently.

 Assassinate is worthless now I think. We are adding to fighters. Making changes to mages.  Just an idea

assassinate is not worthless at all, but I agree it is situational... the mma style leap in combat you talk about is already freely available and is known as bash
