Earwin That was a lot of boring hours for you .. no wonder you left ... I found cleric spells easier to master than the invoker. Not so boring, truly. Smart triggers help much I could work and let my ear listen to "tada"s, that warned about unusual situations like potential enemies around or immortal activity

ARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! 10 mastered skills, 14 mastered spells already, and I continue to master.... I think I will die from age instead induct in Tower...
My last abjurer before i left Solace had all his spells mastered (except 1% infravision, maybe) plus most of the skills (all form controls for sure)

Можно подумать, что если-бы Растама проявил великодушие и сказал тебе - "Червь, то чем ты владеешь необходимо армии великой Такхизис для войны во славу своей Королевы", то ты немедленно все отдал-бы =)
Скорее ты стал-бы ныкаться и может даже квитаться.
Что касается ассассинов - это их стиль. Они должны выбирать нужный момент и убивать одним ударом (особенно верно для Shadow, может быть и не подойдет для Beast).
Касательно чести у армии Такхизис - я читал ОЧЕНЬ много книг по ДЛ, и могу тебе ответственно заявить - там таким и не пахло. Это было нововведение одного конкретного Хайлорда направленное на усиление армии, но даже при этом слава Такхизис и торжество Её дела были выше чести. Максимум на что ты мог рассчитывать у книжных рыцарей - так это на то что тебе предложили-бы раздеться сами и (может) заплатили-бы. А теперь вспомним что при каждом книжном Хайлорде правила были свои, вспомним что Растама - Хайлорд и поймем, что властью данной ему Королевой он имеет право устанавливать для своего клана любые правила.

OMG! Stop that idiocy at last!
All success checks for skills AND spells check for practice percentage AND some other factors.
When you cast 100% Power Word Kill, it checks saves around four times in a row to be successful. Otherwise the spell is failed.
When you use 100% Assassinate or Cleave, it checks all various haste/slow modifiers, difference in dexterity, constitution of victim and other things to be successful. Otherwise the skill is failed.
When you use 100% Drum, it checks some things to be successful AND some other things to stun the victim.
When you use 100% Pincer, it checks some things to be successful (but the formula is different from drum and probability is almost (if not exactly) 100% for minofighters) AND does no other checks to stun the victim for the same time as drum does.
It is impossible to write some piece of code that gives you absolute probability of a successful skill usage, because lots of factors are taken into account including various stats and affects of your victim.

One of my favorite moments in my Solace history was the following:
Ithren - cleric of mishakal, rolled just after they were implemented and were virtually undestroyable. Unlike Bajoi's Eleum, which was dressed in autoheals, Ithren was dressed to augment her resistances and was almost totally immune to physical attacks, was immune to all elemental attacks and highly resistant against most of others.
Once she got blackjacked by a thief of Takhisis army and fully dispelled by accompanying transmuter.
She survived the backstab, yeah... she had 2100 hps (very strict practice-conserving munchkinism + manuals + elite gear + mishakal's empowers). But she fled in around 300hps =)
The key here is munchkinism - munchkinized thief with finest dagger and dressed in damroll stuff failed to outmunchkin cleric of munchkinism.

My note carries warning to those who are planning attack on Solamnia to watch atention on unpredictable sneaking Ehlin,and every true enemies of Solamnia must consider him as possible target. Then he won't stick his nose where it doesn't belongs,though it seems to be his way of life...
*smirk* What are you offering people now, is to use OOC information to consider me either their friends or enemies in game. And i assure you *chuckles softly* any one ganged by Solamnia in front of my eyes will have the same kind of a support. Too much screaming around, cry-baby.

I had impression that this character's (Ehlin) goal is to seek knowledge but it seems he prefers to interfere in battle of evil and good. Obviously helping Solamnia is more important to him then to vaste his time seeking knowledge. Therefore,i suggest he should lose his title and regain a new one : Ally of Solamnia so all clan members can be warned that there is one,hidden and unofficial knight of Sword called Ehlin. He is Solamnia's spy, disguised in ex-tower robes
Who are you to know of my goals in a first place? Not a single sane person will do only one thing during his life, it was a welcome stream of fresh air to watch this fight (and interfere in it.. after all, did i soften someone? or paralyzed? ) As for my allying with Solamnia.. i bet that several knights will disagree with you on that topic and will offer to brand me as an ally of something completely different. *wink Bomethos, Deas*

Takhisis clan god a slightly improved phantasmal armor.. +30% resistances to spellfire damtypes, how surprising.. combined with an energy shield it renders them almost immune, yay!
Please note that Rastama is softened.
[log] Beautiful, mystical incantation comes out of your lips. Your fingers flare with brilliant blue light as you empower your magic! Rastama yells 'Die, Ehlin you sorcerous dog!' You release a searing flame of blue-green spellfire. Your spellfire scratches Rastama. [/log]
