I'd support a trial of this next time heretics, warders, entropy and guardians run out of active players.

Wow, do you ever have a stink on that someone who hates you saw someone else who hates you getting attacked by you, and then decided to help out. You know, because that's what good aligns do occasionally, help each other in the face of overwhelming undead hordes.
Sheesh, get over it. I'm sure you've raped enough good aligns simply by turning up at the right place at the right time, whether by accident or OOC. So what.

*shrugs* I can sleep at night knowing that I do what I can when I'm online to combat those problems. But until everyone works together on this it'll be the immortals who are blamed.

Agreed. It sucks from an RP point of view, as well, so this isn't an ooc deni- uh, action If I see Kiri (hardly any time on MUD lately, gah, real life finally caught up with me) I'll talk to him about getting this stopped on newbies, or maybe <7. You're right, it's not fair, you can't gather the gold.

Hehe, you make a good point, sir newbie. I personally, if I see a character with a description which is a bit short but to the point, and more importantly detailed in what you would see, then I have no problem with there not being "Raised by dark elves in the wooded dell south of Timbuktoo, this dashing half elf is alive with the fire of..." what? How can you tell that from looking at someone? Still, it can't be as bad as "I am the hate magic!" @ mudgurus

(Bear in mind I just woke up)
I asked Kiri about this, and he says it's still 1 and a half hours a day, but spread over a week, so 10.5 hours a week.
Unless it changed, because that was nearly a month ago.
But it is definitely spread over a time period.

Yes, there's a command for Imms which lets us see anything from the same host or ip, and we can also see all the IPs. However, there is no insta-ban on people playing from the same IP - if they are grouped together they will be informed that this is not allowed but outright denial is only for extreme cases.

I think that this could actually be a good idea. I'd make it so that bandage or laying on of hands had a reduced lag time in affects, but give a skill to increase general healing times (like trance for mages). Battle Medic I'd call it. But I'm not an imp

Dalamar had taken over such stuff, but he's a little occupied right now from what I've heard. Everything's kinda slowed down on the Immortal front, life decided it was going to have an audit on the amount of time we've been borrowing to play Solace, and wants interest

I think that feats add more scope to the amount to which you can customise your characters. Maybe everyone takes toughness/MoB-Empower Spell/Spell Defense-Uncanny Dodge/Combat Casting, but for feth's sake that means that EVERYONE HAS THE SAME ANYWAY. If you want to augment your RP by being a foe hunter, or by specialising in one form of weapon or another, or to say you're an excellent swordsman by taking critical hit or SOMETHING like that, then I also think Feats are nice. I agree with re-writing helps, but it's a case of the immortals getting around to it, as it is with so many things which need fixing. So, I guess we'll see. And, FYI, I post quite a bit I just moved so my net was down, but I'm back baby.
