close south
You close the east.

open east
You open the west.

Now, I was not sure where to post this but when I open directions in the Woods of Sorrow, they sometimes open the opposite. Huh

open south
You open the east.

But south opens.

Yeah, I got that too when I was there, plus I have no idea how to get out of those woods either *frowns*
