must be

Someone cleaves an elven archer into _two_ bits of bloody flesh!

Umm... Im not of a english speaking country (as all can notice due to my poor grammar) but i think both sencences, the one you posted and the original are correct, they only have different meanings..  Tongue  but hey what do i know  Huh

Leave out the to and the two and just ... cleaves into bits of bloody flesh. OR into bits of bloody elven flesh.

Bloody hell. THat was an ELF!!!  Cheesy sorry
