Is there some way to know if one is in camouflage? It doesn't show up on affects, or at least it could say ... You have been successful. yes?

Also, is there a problem with Solace or is the lag just random.

Try to make a snare, Jemma.  If you are visible, you will fail.

Same thing with hide, though there's no way to check it with something like snare, as far as I know

And Jemma, you can vis from camo too, but that won't help
