- Please no drama, no toxic stuff etc. Respect each other. Let everyone play and enjoy.
- Respect legacy of Solace: roleplay.
- Strictly follow ALL RULES.

Consider clans closed for now. Write a role indicating you'd love a certain clan; you might be inducted at some point (don't worry about your level).

Coming soon: a solution for solo mages level grind. Multicharring is NOT allowed (see above about following all rules).

Cheers!

Can you please explain to me the ethics, rules and roleplay involved in accordance with the Entropy clan?

So far, the only thing I've seen from Entropy is random stupidity.

What I recommend is that you scrape Entropy from the clan list and rebuild it to something more suitable to the Dragon Lance world. It's obviously just a direct rip off of the Entropy clan from CF (or what was the entropy clan) and even they got rid of it because of the same reasons.

Let's make it something roleplayable and something that fits with the story of the game.

Hiddukel RP's the clan leader brilliantly, as he did with all his chars in times past. So, the leader is not the problem, nor the clan or how it is set up.

Like ALL clans, no matter what rules, or ethics, or whatever, random stupidity exists in them all.

Entropy has plenty of roleplay but some are far too unimaginative to construct interesting ones. Shame people get the bad idea of such. -Bjo

Really, I have been asked by one of my dearest friends, -bows low before her- to get up off my golden ass and finish the strictures of Entropy. It is a careful task, but hopefully over next day or so....

Here's my main qualm with the Entropy clan and the reason I'm calling you out. First of all, I know you'll give me a good answer. Second of all, I know your a good dood and would actually consider some of the stuff people say on here.

Entropy just gives people a 'roleplay' (albeit a non roleplayed) reason to be chaotic stupid killers. Meidot, Yegemoth and the like are all perfect examples. They do not have a 'rules to abide by', therefore, a dark elf will work with a kender to kill everyone. Does it make sense? Nope, sorry. Does it make sense that because one is evil and one is neutral, they'll kill evil/neutral/good? No, it really doesn't. Does it make sense that because Entropy is 'chaotic', the clan can raid ALL OTHER clans and place them in the cave (only being able to do so because the team has moved over to that clan?). No.

Entropy does not give these people rules or roleplay to abide by, therefore allowing them to break IC rules with OOC teams. Even though people in this game STILL play together and roll together, if an outsider sees a OOC team of Solamnics doing something Unsolamnic... (in theory) they will be punished. With Entropy, you don't have this.

I seriously say the clan gets revamped, because at the moment most of the members are just nonroleplaying multi killers/looters who play because the other clans are being closely scrutinized now. Hiddy, please give it structure, integrity and other things. At the moment, it is just a copycat of a more roleplayed, more scrutinized cabal on another MUD (which, I might add, was REMOVED FOR THE VERY REASON I AM COMPLAINING HERE).

Thanks.

look, hugo, for example Heretic clan gather too much killers, looters, and sometimes wimpers Smiley, and what? remove heretic clan, change clan? it will not add anything but make world less interesting, with less variety...

it seems we have more serious troubles-tasks than Chaos clan which gather too many killers...

before change clans we need first to clear a purposes of all that changes...

we throw ideas here but we still dont know criterias to consider these ideas.

what should be a criteria of bad or good idea of changing? i think the best criterias are clear purposes.

so, what purposes are primary for immortals in developing Solace, right now?

example:

1. increase base of loyal users
- icrease aphmosphere of roleplay
- make more interesting dynamic in game
- achieve balance

2. fixing bugs, errors and mistakes

3. expand world, add areas, skills, spells, features etc

now, i see  immortals have some orientirs which they use while make changes:
- no cheats
- no overpowered class/clans
- no OOC
- no insults, unrespects
- no gopas

but if we imagine - what it will be if there will be no:
cheats, overpowered class/clans, no attempts of OOC, no instults, no gopas???

there will be noone, eh??? or what? what will be here? may be it will be world where more then 50% of people will roleplay good, will not loot, will not OOC team...

so it s dangerous to finally achieve such orientirs... without vision of future. and if there are some vision, can you share it with us? to we could know where we go...? Smiley

P.S. limitation is a bad way to grow...

To assist with roleplaying, you need to clamp down on people who can't explain their actions. For example, CF has gopa teams for sure, but it's hard for them to abuse their powers because they are always being monitored by the immortals. Even if its roleplayed, it's hard to explain why a necromancer would help a knight out...

You have to look at the clans first. Heretics are looters and what not, but that's because they are really fighting every clan atm. I would do the exact same if I was them.

Now, Entropy has no clear purpose, no clear rules and no clear guideline on how to roleplay. I wait in anticipation to see what Hiddukel can cook up, but I also hope that he would take action against people who really are just roleless killers (Meidot etc?).

I know that Bjo and immortals are currently working to fix the entropy cabal... but I was just thinking about what it might be to apply for the previous entropy which seemed to have no purpose, creed or goal:

Dear Incarnation,

I am rank 25 and I have worked my whole life to make things difficult for other people. I love shiny things more than my closest friends and always full loot others even if I have god-like equipment. I am a chaotic good, and kill all of my groupmates in their sleep when I'm done adventuring with them. I also ask high-ranking players if I can see nice items (to look at them) and don't return them. I feel like the entropy cabal has what I'm looking for: I can get all kinds of nice items, kill whoever I want in large OOC groups and Hiddukel will support me with insane empowers! Plz except my entry letter; I am gopa and super excited to get my hands on some auto-cast eq! As a member of entropy I vow to attack everyone on sight, show no mercy for the naked, and break my vows with everyone.

Thank you

//just a joke to say goodbye to old entropy

A nice joke, and it might have been funny if it had come from someone else and not someone who had been assisting entropy in reraiding solamnic's.

Hehhe. Well it was 1entropy vs 2 solamnic, and I was trying to earn brownie points to get meidot off my back (he attacked me more times than I could remember because I made one stupid mistake).

I was sitting in palanthas and Bjo approached me about it... guess I was just bored. Sorry  Wink

Bjo was the only respectable entropy player I found.

Keep IC information IC please. This isn't a place to whine about things that happened in game.

Hiddukel, I hope you understand what my above posts are asking for.

Entropy is more than just deciet and random killing of people..you must try to get under there skin first. The true vision of Entropy is to verbally and mentally confuse your opponent manipulate and expose them..and then if that doesn't work or your task is down...annoy them by attacking them and fleeing....

Entropy is great fun..most kills and attempted kills should be on the reraids...the world can't be thrown into Chaos if everyone is dieing at Chaos's hand...remember that.

Remember the greygem?? The very idea this clan is taken from, in my honest opinion. This gem went from continent to continent polluting everything with pure choas...making others hate each other...turning friends into enemies.

That is my perception of chaos...perhaps I am wrong but feel free for feedback...all vulgarity and whining will be ignored.
