It is more question then idea:

You draw upon the forest energy surrounding you.
Thick weed-like vines erupt from the ground and lash at a lesser troll's legs!
Your entangling vines mauls a lesser troll.

You source energy from the surrounding forest.
Thick weed-like vines erupt from the ground and lash at a lesser troll's legs!
Your entangling vines misses a lesser troll.

It is a bit confusing, in both cases vines lash legs, so i want to ask does it prevent target to flee in both cases (when it miss and when it hits).
If it doesnt prevent from fleeing when it miss, maybe message should be changed (fail to lash)
