Sorry Kage, but most of, or actually all russians that i know would make little of Ezus's remark and actually make such remarks from time to time themselves. It's like it's sort of wrong, but then not very. Noone makes a fuss about negros (which actually is the word in russian for all blacks), because it does not mean a slave or whatever for us. And words like nigger, sh*t, f*ck and the rest are just piculiar english words. Also the whole political correctness and tolerance issues are just not applicable to us as we have always been society where racism has been on a domestic basis, but never something resulting in actual dimince of some race. Maybe there's been a couple of riots against the jews in our history (can't remember when) but nothing else comes to mind. Yes, people do get killed because of skin color from time to time (hate crime that's the american term i think), but this is done by idiots and compared to how many people are just killed for other reasons it is nothing. So in russia you are not really a racist if you do not like negros or whomever, you're a racist if you kill people for it. At least that's the way i see it.

Although maybe Ezus is a skin head and walks around smashing people, but i seriously doubt that  .

PS Sorry for getting into this offtop, its just that i visit the states often and to a russian all that "don't say the N word" crap looks ridiculus.

Sorry Rialon but what you said is pure cr*p... I'm not russian, but I very well know the definition of prejudice, or racism (a term that is not very well accepted now-a-days).
If you define someones personality based on her skin color, that is prejudice. So in Russia, by what you just said, there is racism all around, only no one does anything about it.
To call someone black or something like that, I personally don't think is a racist act, but if you go on asking if people are "niggaz" because you disagree with their point of view, then yes, you are one racist f*ck*r. It clearly shows what you think of the whole for a simple characteristic that isn't related with the way each one of them think, act or express themselves.
(By "you" I mean the racist, in this case, Ezus) 

PS: The definition of racism or prejudice doesn't change from one country to the other. It is the same. The ideas behind it are the same.

Heh, statistics, Argonar, statistics. There are different features of different races - we are all different actually. Black people are usually better physically developed, then white, and usually with less intellect then white. USUALLY does not mean all, but gives reason for conclusions. What you are saying basically is if you see someone with a down syndrome you should not conclude on his intellect. People do not all have to like each other and are free to make their own judgement about others. From your point of view, it is racism, from another's point of view it is not. That's just it.

I really liked that movie i saw, Clash or Crash, american movie. Where two negros are walking in a decent district and a man and a woman give them a cautious glance. So they black guys start going on about prejudice and all that and then pull out their guns and rob the couple. Or when a white cop acted as a jerk to a black man's wife or girlfriend and his partner turned away from him and then he saved the very woman from a burning car. Damn, i did not think they would make such a film in US, but was pleasantly surprized.

The definition may not change, but the way you treat a certain situation differs, so you may not apply that definition.

-  The word negro is not the issue it also means black in other languages its the racist version, he did not ask if he was a negro and he wasnt saying it innocently..it is intention that makes someone racist, he meant it to be offensive..and it wasnt said in some russian side street.  This is a public internet forum and some courtousy would be nice.  Just because ,rialon, you say this wouldnt bother your friends either doesnt tell me its ok..it tells me about your friends.  Russia is full of jewish people not just a couple either...no one should throw out jewish slurs either, though you probably wouldnt care about that either.

p.s. you totally missed the point of that movie crash by the way.  perhaps it was over your head.  As for biologically...there are biological differences from race to race.  Lower intelligience is not one of them...your infering a socio-economic tendency to correlate with a number of ,I assume some easy to find, literacy statistic.  Judge away..this is certainly happening as people read your posts..just keep it to your self along with your propaganda and elementary level biology guesses.  Thats like some uneducated american thinking you all still wait in line for toilet paper.
